Privacy Policy
Migrate Capital respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. We follow Canada’s privacy law, PIPEDA.
Who we are
Migrate Capital is operated by Paul de Sousa, carrying on business as Migrate Capital, in Ontario, Canada. We educate and introduce; we are not a licensed financial, legal, or tax advisor. For privacy questions or access requests, write to info@migratecapital.com.
What we collect
When you contact us, we collect your name, email, and anything else you choose to add, such as phone, jurisdiction, reason, and message. When you subscribe, we collect your email, and your name if you give it. As you browse, we collect basic technical data such as IP address, browser, and pages viewed, through server logs and any analytics we use. We will tell you before using non-essential cookies.
The SWP link
When you click a link to Strategic Wealth Preservation (SWP), SWP may set its own cookie so that, if you open an account, your introduction is credited to us. That cookie is SWP’s, under SWP’s privacy practices, not ours.
Why we use it
To reply to you, make an introduction to SWP if you ask, send you emails you have subscribed to, run and secure the site, and meet our legal obligations (including Canada’s anti-spam law, CASL). We rely on your consent, and we never use pre-checked boxes.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the providers that run our site and email, who act on our instructions. They are Kit (email, in the United States), Resend (transactional email, in the United States), and Vercel (hosting, in the United States). If you ask for an introduction, we pass what is needed to SWP, only for that, and SWP must obtain its own consent before marketing to you. We also disclose where the law requires.
Because these providers are outside Canada, your information may be stored in the United States, and in the Cayman Islands if you ask for an introduction, and may be subject to the laws there. We remain responsible for it.
Keeping and protecting it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it or the law requires (for example, CASL consent records), then delete it. We use reasonable safeguards. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.
Your choices
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; use it any time and we will action it promptly. You can also ask what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, or have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. Contact info@migratecapital.com.
Visitors outside Canada
We operate from Canada. If you visit from the EU, UK, or elsewhere and have local rights, contact us and we will deal with your request.

We may update this page; the date above shows the current version. If you are unhappy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
